- Natural lighting

- Boards made of foam

- Tape or clamps

- Background

- Mannequin or model

Now that you’ve obtained your accessories let’s glance at the ways of capturing apparels photographs.

Organize your attire

Many photographers overlook this aspect and count on Photoshop or editing software to correct flaws, stains, and other noticeable imperfections while photographing their merchandise. That is not something you should do.

Create your picture studio

You can transform almost any room into a photographic studio with a few simple items. A DSLR, tripod, white backdrop, duct tape, and natural lighting will be sufficient.

Natural lighting

If you’re going to use natural light, place your goods near a window, so it gets even, indirect light, and that will do your job perfectly.

Styling

Models: Models are desirable because a living body allows a client to connect with your goods and adds a sense of competence.

Mannequins: Mannequins are ideal since they are inexpensive, reliable, and simple to use.

Flat layout: The term “flat lay” refers to the practice of placing objects on a level surface and photographing them from above. It’s also known as a bird’s-eye view.

Grab your camera

Modifying your photos in photoshop won’t be enough if your camera settings are incorrect. Before photographing your merchandise, make sure you understand ISO, wide-angle, and contrast adjustment.

Capture the image

Point your camera at your target and concentrate on your subject before snapping the image. If you realize that your photographs require more or less light during the shoot, make adjustments to your camera settings.

Post-processing your images

After you’ve finished shooting, it’s time to get your product photographs ready for the online platform. The purpose of retouching is to make your pictures look as polished as possible while preserving maximum performance.

Better product photos mean higher sales and more opportunities for consumers to experience your goods. If you follow these steps as mentioned earlier, you will produce top-notch product photographs that will make you proud.
